Suicidal tendencies affect many people and is often misunderstood. In this interactive workshop, researchers from the University of Zurich will work with participants to challenge common myths and shed light on the latest scientific findings.

Through case studies, discussions, and practical exercises, participants will learn how suicidal ideation is studied, what warning, risk, and protective factors are known, and why early support is so important.

A special focus is placed on how mental health crises can be addressed openly, responsibly and supportively. The workshop invites participants to ask questions, break down prejudices, and better understand the importance of prevention and social support.
